Aiming wider and higher boundlessly
-Vssits of Bosnia and Vomoros ambassadors to our foundation
It was such a great honor to invite two prestige ambassadors to come Hong Kong in the name of International Boundless Dreams Come True Foundation on 1/5 and 2/6 2012. Two ambassadors, who are from Bosnia and Comoros, pay friendly visit to our foundation under invitation. We were so glad that our foundation had an in-depth sharing and discussion with them, which moved a great leap forward to the charitable development. But the most important thing was that this visit marked a historical chapter. The friendships and linkages with other international bodies are further enhanced. Our network even broadened to the international level. To our foundation, this visit had an ultimate significant value.
On the 1st of May, Bosnia ambassador (Amel Kovacevic) and envoy (Zorica Zirojevic) came to Hong Kong from Beijing for the visit to our foundation. The chairman of our foundation Mr. Mango Wong and executive Mr. Ip highly appreciated their comings. Mr. Wong first introduced the objective and background of our foundation, as well as the present situation and the further development. Later on, Mr. Wong briefly explained the current conditions of Hong Kong from different aspects like politic, socio-economy and culture. These introductions were crucial for the future co-operations between Hong Kong and Bosnia. So, this visit greatly facilitated economic, cultural and tourism development, and brought a win-win situation.
Bosnia ambassador was pleased to have our welcoming and hospitality. At the same time, he introduced the history and social development of Bosnia. He gave special thanks to Mr. Mango Wong for his effort on their mutual co-operations and benefits. He hoped this visit can encourage and build more linkages to Hong Kong commercial bodies and better liaison with NGOs.
After this significant meeting, both of them took pictures and gave souvenirs. Bosnia ambassador even wrote grateful comments and wishes on the comment book of our foundation. This visit came to the end under a friendly and harmonious atmosphere. Our foundation specially arranged a meeting between a NGO and Bosnia ambassador in his schedule. We did believe that this arrangement can foster mutual cooperation.
On the 3rd May, Bosnia ambassador paid a visit to the Hong Kong Association of the Deaf to have a comprehensive understanding on Hong Kong charitable bodies and gain management experiences. Hong Kong Association of the Deaf is founded in 1976 by a group of deaf volunteers. It is the biggest NGO with the longest history for the deaf in Hong Kong. It is the delegate representing Hong Kong in the World Federation of the Deaf. This association aims at providing the deaf and their family members with comprehensive aids and community supports. The vice-chairperson Mr. Chan highly welcomed Bosnia ambassador and Mr. Mango Wong. Executive Mr. Ng briefly introduced the background and operation including courses of sign language and career supports etc. Bosnia ambassador was so appreciated the efforts that association made to the deaf, especially the career supports. He thought that the occupation skills were very important for the deaf to earn a living in today’s society. Both had a thorough discussion and sharing about the management skills. In the end, they gave souvenirs to each other and took photos to capture this great moment.
On the 4th May, it was the day that Bosnia ambassadors ended their trip and went back to Beijing. This visit is a golden opportunity to build the friendship between our foundation and Bosnia. It positively drives co-operations and mutual benefits in economic and charitable aspects. This successful visit definitely opens a new page for the development of our foundation.
On the 2nd June, Comoros ambassador (Mahmoud M. Aboud) had a visit to Hong Kong with the invitation of our foundation. The chairman Mr. Mango Wong and executive Mr. Ip welcomed him at the office in person. Both had briefly introductions on their own countries’ developments. Mr. Wong also stressed the efforts and the contributions of our foundation to the society. They both hoped their linkage would further enhanced after this visit, which would even lead to a win-win situation.
Then, Mr. Wong gave a souvenir to the ambassador while the ambassador also wrote feedback to thanks the hospitality of our foundation. Afterwards, the ambassador paid a visit to the Hong Kong Association of the Deaf companied by Mr. Wong. The chairman of the association Mr. Mak greatly welcomed his comings. With the arrangement of Mr. Wong, Comoros ambassador had a better understanding on the charitable development.
Our foundation can come to this stage with many contributions to the society because it has long been cooperated and supported by government and NGOs. For sure, our foundation will have sustainable development. Widening the cooperation network is an element for our development. So, both visits of Bosnia and Comoros ambassadors not only show our outstanding management and co-ordination skills, but also prove that our foundation has a wide and solid cooperation network. That means our foundation also has an international acumen and belief. Aiming wider and higher boundlessly is always our foundation objective.
